Accommodation Rules

• The Accommodation Operating Rules (Annex 1 to the Sublease Agreement) are available in Czech and English below in the attached documents.

The Reservation Fee serves as a reservation for a Bed in the accommodation facility Dormitory WEST. By filling in the data in the application for accommodation and paying the Reservation Fee in the amount of the Security Deposit before entering the accommodation, the person interested in accommodation agrees with the terms and cancellation conditions listed below on this website www.kam.czu.cz/west and below in this article.

The Reservation Fee can be paid in the same way as the Rent, either online by debit/credit card via the payment gateway in the ISKAM4 university system or in-person cash or credit/debit card at the CZU cash desk and is due by the date of entrance into accommodation.

If the Sublessee pays the Reservation Fee before starting the accommodation and then sends the information about the cancellation of the Bed reservation electronically to the email west@kam.czu.cz, the Subtenant will refund a proportion of the Reservation Fee according to the date of sending this information, as follows:

• by sending the information more than 61 days before the start of the accommodation, 100% of the Reservation Fee will be refunded.
• by sending the information in the period from 60 to 31 days before the start of the accommodation, 67% of the Reservation Fee will be refunded.
• by sending the information less than 30 days before the start of the accommodation, 0% of the Reservation Fee will be refunded.

The above cancellation conditions do not apply to situations where especially foreign clients of CZU after booking a Bed in the accommodation facility are prevented, not through their fault, entry into accommodation, especially due to the ban on departure from their "home" university. In such a case, the CZU client is obliged to submit the order in writing in Czech or English language with an official stamp of the "home" university. A ban on departure or arrival may also be granted by the competent authorities of the given state or the competent authorities of the Czech Republic. In such cases, the Reservation Fee will be returned in full to the Sublessee (client of CZU).
