PRICE LIST OF DORMITORY FEES AND SERVICES AT CZU HALLS OF RESIDENCE

The price list for dormitory fees and accommodation services applies to all full-time students. This group includes students of the Czech University of Agriculture as well as other students of universities in the Czech Republic and abroad.

The price of the dormitory fee ranges from CZK 4,100 to CZK 9,000 per month / bed, depending on the room category.

In order to confirm the reservation of the assigned bed in the CZU Halls of Residence in Prague, it is necessary to pay an accommodation deposit to the account of the Halls of Residence in the amount according to the valid Price List of Dormitory Fees and Services. Upon payment of the accommodation deposit, the Accommodation Contract is deemed to be concluded. In the event that the accommodation deposit is not paid by the deadline specified in the Accommodation Scenario, the accommodation request will be cancelled from the accommodation system and the bed will be offered to the next applicants on the waiting list of non-accommodated students.

Payment of dormitory fees and services

Payment of dormitory fees and services is due no later than the 15th day of the month. The prescription and payment schedule are always generated on the 1st day of the calendar month and are available on the portal https://iskam.czu.cz.

The bank account number is the same for all payments related to accommodation at the CZU Halls of Residence.

PROCEDURE FOR CHECK-OUT FROM THE DORMITORY

Check-out from the dormitory takes place before 12:00 on the last day of accommodation as specified in the accommodation contract or according to the notice period.

1) NOTICE / TERMINATION OF CONTRACT

The notice period is one month (30 days) from the date the notice is sent electronically to the email address ubytovani@kam.czu.cz. In the event that the last day of the accommodation falls on a weekend when giving notice, the last day will be changed to Friday of the same week.

The notice email must include: subject – Accommodation notice, content – name and surname, building, room number, date of notice.

The dormitory fee is always charged until the last day of accommodation.

2) GENERAL CLEANING OF THE ROOM BEFORE CHECKING OUT

List to be cleaned and checked:

Clean out closets and storage areas (including under the bed).
Vacuum and mop the floor in the room, hallway and bathroom.
Vacuum and mop the area under the bed and refrigerator.
Vacuum mattresses on both sides.
Wash the radiator, mirrors, sink, shower and toilet (in the case of an en-suite room).
Dust and wash shelves, desk, switches and lights.
Wash all doors on both sides.
Defrost and wash the fridge – the fridge must remain open and unplugged* after defrosting.
Take out all waste.

* point (h) applies to the last occupant in the room

A vacuum cleaner can be borrowed at the reception. Any defects must be reported to reception.

3) CLEANING CHECK ON THE LAST DAY OF ACCOMMODATION

The cleaning check is carried out according to the list in point 2.

Checking time: Monday – Friday, 8:00 - 12:00

The student will sign in on the cleaning check form (except for BCD residence hall).

Location of form:

Dormitory A - bulletin board on the ground floor

Dormitory EFG - board next to the elevator on the floor where the student is staying

Dormitory JIH - board next to the elevator on the floor where the student is staying

After the check, the student will receive a confirmation that the room is clean. Without this confirmation, the student will NOT be allowed to check out of the accommodation.

4) CHECK-OUT WITH THE HEAD OF THE DORMITORY

Check-out takes place on the last day of accommodation (Monday to Friday) from 8:00 to 12:00 in the office of the Head of the respective dormitory. Termination of accommodation outside working hours and working day is only possible with prior approval from the Head of Dormitory.

Check-out requirements:

Confirmation of room cleaning (see point 3)
Room keys
Bed linen (if borrowed at check-in).

You CANNOT check out without these items. Only the person concerned can terminate the accommodation, the room keys cannot be handed over to a third party.

Upon check-out, a check of the financial obligation to KaM will be carried out. Any arrears / fines will be deducted from the deposit.

5) REFUND OF DEPOSIT

The deposit (if refundable) can only be refunded cashless, refunds in cash are not possible. The refund period is within 1 month of the end of the accommodation (but usually within 2 weeks).

Methods of refunding the deposit:

Czech bank account listed in the student's ISKAM profile.
To the card(s) used when paying through the payment gateway in ISKAM.
Foreign bank account – via request to ubytovani@kam.czu.cz.

When checking out with the Head of Dormitory, the student is obliged to announce the way in which he/she wants to refund the deposit. In case the student has accommodation booked for the next academic year, a request can be made to keep the deposit in the account.

CONFIRMATION OF ACCOMMODATION

The service is avaliable for students who already accommodated at CZU campus dormitories or for students, who already get the accommodation at CZU campus dormitories.

The confirmation of accommodation (potvrzení o ubytování) is the document mostly needed to apply for the visa extension/long-term permit once the student is already in Prague, Czech Republic.

The confirmation of accommodation is provided in two forms:

Electronic form through Datovka (data box) – free of charge – requires the reference number of student’s visa/long-term permit application (for example: OAM-000123-XX/DP-2000).
Certified paper form – 50 CZK / one piece (the price depends on official price from CZECH POINT).

The certified paper form is issued within 5 working days after the payment for the application. The student will be notified that there is a payment prescription for the certified paper to the email address listed in the application form. The payment should be done in the ISKAM. The student will get the email that the document is ready to pick up at the accommodation office at dormitory B.

The electronic form is sent within 5 working days after application for the confirmation. The student will get the email to the email address listed in the application form that the document was sent through Datovka (data box).
